a high Band 5 will do provided that you also do consistently well in your other subjects. I know Band 6 students who scored in the low 90s because their other subjects weren't Band 6.
I got a state rank in English. I wrote essays throughout the year. I wrote essays on different questions...
dont give up.
think: after the hsc, you can have all the freedom u want!
that being said, you need some time to relax too. Sing, dance or do whatever u like during ur breaks
count me in too - 93. I got state rank
also, top atar for standard english in 2010 was 99.80. in previous years, its also around high 99's
so its definitely possible
depends on demand. I think it will rise though because more and more people are wanting to study law
and not only that - many students are starting to apply for EAS - like even students receiving youth allowance are applying for EAS! so yeh, it will continue to rise
to be honest, you'll find...
yeh so for 1st year, we have this court report to write and the task asks us to write about our court experience, comparing and contrasting the two courts we visit.
Just wondering from other law students, how do I go about writing this court report so it doesn't sound like a narrative or...
the minimum is actually 95
and like what others are saying, a high atar just makes you more competitive in getting a spot
in saying that, I know someone who got 99.60 and didn't get into medicine because of crap interview and umat
ages ago, sydney was the only (correct me if I am wrong) law school people could go to.. so naturally, it would have a long history.
The prestige of Sydney law school today lies on the history of its law faculty
and yes, like others, I think Sydney Law School is overrated
use the chain ruleeeeeeeeeee
so dy/dx = dy/du x du/dx
y = u^3
dy/du = 3u^2
u = tan3x
du/dx = 3sec^2(3x)
dy/dx = 3u^2 x 3sec^2(3x)
= 9(tan3x)^2(sec3x)^2
Congratulations!!! Epic marks!!!
EDIT: by your Ancient History raw mark and hsc mark, that would mean I lost around 4-5 marks in Ancient????? grrrrrrrrr
