As far as timetabling is concerned, it's terrible in 2nd year due to core units but in 3rd year, it's so much better since we can basically do any units we want like the Science and Science (Adv) kids....I just happen to have chosen a not-so-ideal combination of subjects...
Haven't *actually* bought anything yet but considering getting 6 inch black and biege timberland boots :D

MBLG is actually a nicely organised and very interesting unit. It's not as difficult as everyone says it is, provided you put in consistent effort.

I didn't take it personally, so I can't say much, but my mates found it pretty difficult. That being said, they did end up fine (one mid-credit, one high distinction) but obviously that depends on each individual's ability and interest...
For long exams, make sure you have a good night's sleep and that you have a low GI breakfast e.g. I usually eat toast, eggs, oats and a banana before major exams.
