That's really a huge misconception. Don't ever rush when you're learning biology, but give yourself time to process the information especially because some concepts can be quite complex (for example protein synthesis throws a lot of people off).

Oh, I know what you mean. :) Sometimes you can feel suffocated, and begin to ask why you even bother (stress, stress, stress). When that happens, take a break/breather. Then (when you are ready) revise what your original goals were and hopefully you will be back on track.
I don't agree with this. I don't think there is such thing as "dreaming too much", in fact, I think the people who are successful are those whose visions remain consistent. I don't think having a half-assed mentality is going to get you far - but the more persistent and consistent you are with...
