you might be able to get a PASS if scaling is involved, so your raw marks get aligned. Though i'm not 100% sure. Anyone know if they scale up COMP courses?
I'm doing comm/sci with actuarial and have done COMP1917 this semester. I picked to do it purely out of interest. As LordPc has stated, it covers twice the amount of content as COMP1911 so I wouldn't do this unless you are also really interested in programming.

1. Under comm/sci degree you can only have one major in commerce. For science if you're gonna do maths, it is actually possible to double major in maths/stats under a specified plan. Otherwise, its also only one major in science (e.g. computer science).
