need help
P is a variable point on the parabola x2=-4y. The tangent from P cuts the parabola x2=4y at Q and R. Show that 3x2=4y is the equation of the locus of the mid-point of the chord RQ.
doesn't look hard...just cant figure out the first steps

i think that the answer is <2.25%

i left early finished the whole thing well with 1 hour+ to go so i just checked the whole paper again and then left with like 15 mintues left, but lots of peeople left with 30+ left

edit:118 i realised for the zooming in one, u had to write how many times it zoomed in? i just wrote n=13 so i guess 1 mark off

if they ask you to integrate something with ln x and dont mention that u hav to change the subject to x and then do it that way, can u just do primitive of ln x is xln x -x? and then do it, it'll b a lot faster and safer.
Well, i'm still not tooo sure about this like splitting it up or just subtracting the 2 curves from each other? especially when like it goes to the negative part of the graph?
like if u have to find the negative parts separately? or what? and like rotation!!! u always have to split that if its...
What do you do in reading time? just do the first few questions or maybe look at the last ones? or just skim through randomly picking a question and doing it until the reading time is over.
