    I hate my course?

Nothing is shown to you becuase uni is nothing like high school. They dont spoon feed you information. Your expected to be mature enough to take education into your own hands and learn it yourself. Lectures and tutors are happy to help you if needed, but for the most part, its your responsibility.

    How does deferring work?

Not sure about mid year, but deferring usually is only for 1 year, and there is usually a fee. I 'm not sure about the policy for all the different uni's but it varies. You will have to look at whatever uni you are looking at to see what the go is.

    I hate my course?

Well do honestly know what you want as a career? You don't have to go to uni to be successful in life and maybe uni might not be for you. You have options: -You could apply for a leave of absence or defer (if you still can) and have a year off to really think about what you want to do. -You...

    How do I study?

There is no need to worry. Yes, uni can be a big change at first, but it honestly is nothing to worry about. Just do what works for you. Read over your notes after uni and try and summarise things to get a grasp of the content. When I was at uni they had study skills sessions and different...

    nervous....

I moved to Sydney to attend uni and knew NO ONE. You meet people in lectures and tutes. You do a lot of group work at uni so you meet people that way. Some people I met whilst doing group work for assignments are now some of my closest friends.

Hawkesbury- is there a shuttle service?

I dont know if this is the same sort of shuttle, but there used to be a shuttle bus at Blacktown campus that ran from the campus to Quakers Hill trainsation, Maryong and Woodcroft shops and Blacktown train station. It was mostly residents who caught it but other people caught it too.

Although the higher your marks the better your chances, but that goes the same with all degrees. marketing major..the "fail" major?

As someone who works in marketing and holds a marketing degree, I don't think marketing is a "fail" degree. Marketing is a very exciting and interesting industry to work in. There is much more to it than just common sense. If you are not creative and strategically analytical then you wont...

Adding up the units (B Computing)

Id spead to the student centre. You need to do the 240 cp's to get your major, so I would not leave anything out. You might have to do 5 subjects for one semester. Honestly Im not really sure, just ask the student centre or head of program

Anyone doing Visual Communication (with the intention to transfer later on)?

Why are you doing a degree unrelated to what you want to transfer to? You wont get credited for the subjects you did when you transfer, so your basically having to start uni all over again. A friend of mine started doing a B Arts at UWS and successfuly transfered to B Arts/B Edu at USYD with...
