maybe the guy talked to the teacher privatly at the end of the lesson. It could have been from the adding up of the marks. You never asked the guy why he got the extra marks. Your teacher had said no other appeals can be made after this point, but the guy could have added his mark...

senior marker from HSC ext 1 maths came to our school and she said that if u corss out ur right solution and redo it wrong and it was worth eg 2 marks u will get 1 mark for it... however if u dont cross out any solutions you will get 0.

you got half mark for no reasoning in circle geometry??? easy marking scheme....... dont think ur teacher followed wester region or catholic marking scheme. you should get 0 for that. thats what the subject is all about, otherwise u could just claim any 2 things r equal and prove it...

i remember i did a bit of polynomials in yr 10 in advanced maths, i thought they were the hardest thing ever.. now i think polynomial is almost the easiest topic in maths especially 4unit poly is so simple. So yea, you do get better haha.

Hey, Does anyone have the chambridge chapter 7 solutions? Especially 7.2.. i prefer not the typed one thats available, cause its pretty crap IMO. I know some companies are selling solutions and wouldnt want them posted up etc, but i just dont want to wait to borrow them from school...

d/w u dont learn much in physics about forces.... theres nothing special about them. I used to hate volumes, but they seem to be all repetative things, i think the only hard think about volumes is the analous with finding 2 roots etc...
