how to study for Investigating Science

I used this as a 'filler subject' mostly cos I like science and wanted to use it as an extension on top of Biology. The subject itself is super easy (I got a band 6) but it scales mid or horribly depending on what mark u get. The way this subject is designed enables ppl to tailor it however way...

    How do you improve

On top of what @Lumimi and @gammahydroxybutyrate said, I would also add that your language and overall argument is low modal and therefore fails to persuade the reader. This can be rectified by utilising more technical and sophisticated language as well as words commonly used in critical essays...

    Laptop for uni

Im gonna get a mac air with the M2 chip. Most of my friends seem to use it and have no problem. Mac Air's in general dont really have any issues (I've used the same mac air since 2019 without any problems until like last week). M2 is also significantly cheaper lol

Bach of Science Masters of Nursing uSYD

Hi lol. I js opened bos after my uac offer. I also got a USYD offer into B/Science & B/Advanced Studies (Medical Science) ~ (I decided not to pursue nursing as a pathway mostly because my atar was higher than I thought and this seems more direct into med) Sounds like you have everything mostly...

Could I enter this course with my ATAR?

I agree with u on this. But js another Q, is it possible for op to extend/prolong the degree? Specifically the Actuarial's degree. That would maybe make things easier. Cos I know for example, Clinical Science at Macquarie is a 2 year course, but people I know have prolonged it to 3 years etc to...

Could I enter this course with my ATAR?

I'm not 100% sure but I think this degree may be available for HSC Plus (Might wanna call UNS to check that though). That way, your eligible for some points if you did either English Advanced, Ext 1, or Ext 2 (given that you got a B5,6 or equivalent). Keep in mind thought that the LSR (Lowest...

    Which course is better? HELP!!!

I'm probably not the most qualified to answer but I'll try my best. I'm going to assume your looking at pharmaceutical science at UNSW since it's also hat I have my eyes on. It's offered as a double degree with a Master of Pharmacy (at UNSW) and for that reason, I would guess that to maintain a...

    Which course is better? HELP!!!

I've decided to go for B/Science & B/Advanced Studies (Medical Science) at USYD (Its a double degree) or B/psychology at USYD (with honours or without doesn't matter). I'll most likely get both of them so I haven't 100% decided yet. Either way, I plan on taking the UCAT and getting into...

Bach of Science Masters of Nursing uSYD

Hi! Sorry for the late response, but after some digging in the past week, I've also been interested in doing nursing as a pathway to MD (but I wouldn't mind a career as a nurse - specifically a trauma centre nurse so I can work in the operating theatres etc) So far the USYD B/Science and...

Which Uni is better for LAW, UTS or Macquarie? (among other things)

So yeah, pretty much what the title says. Also, I am a little bit clueless when it comes to this stuff so all I know is from some research and word of mouth- please educate me if im wrong. I'm going off this criteria to judge whichever is better: - How is the course in general at ____ uni -...

Bach of Science Masters of Nursing uSYD

Hi, I've also just graduated high school and was looking into alternate pathways into med (so we're in the same boat :)) I did have the same idea of using B/Science and Nursing at USYD but I also found some other options you may want to consider: Undergraduate med: - UNSW 'LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME'...
