Yes, you will be able to do an internal course transfer into the double degree, however if I was you I would still leave your double degree as first preference as your UAI and the cut off may not be too far apart and hence you stand reasonable chance.

Stick with your plan at the moment, but when you do a degree do any that you may find interesting. UTS has the new Juris Doctor coming out next year, it replaced the Masters of Law and Legal Practice. Conditions i remember are a university degree in an area OTHER then law and some other shit but...
