Personally, I chose Macquarie because of the resources and facilities available for Commerce students. The career services and internship units (i.e. you can do an internship and get recognised credit for it) were also a big plus.

So we've all taken the pens, paper pads, lollies, pointless frisbies and junk - but what's the best (or worse) freebie you have taken?

Going to have to be a bit more specifc... and just saying, there are some students who don't know exactly what job they will do but at least narrow down a particular area of interest and pick a degree suited to the area.

Just thought I might let you know that Macquarie offers a Bachelor of Commerce - major in Business Information Systems.

If you have been able to develop independent learning skills and the discipline to study on your own without teachers giving you homework - this will serve you very well in uni. Besides assessments and assignments, I didn't get much homework either and it all came down to whether you personally...

I thought the ATAR always works one year behind? E.g. if you are applying for 2012 degrees, there is no 2011 ATAR until this year's applications are put in, therefore you have to rely on the 2010 ATAR results to gauge which degrees you want to apply for. At least this was the case when I applied?
