o btw, what was Harry's ranking?
Okay, I'm currently in yr 11 (or unofficially yr 12 considering all the official yr 12 are off doing their HSC and/or have already finished).
I have 13 units at school right now, and yes, I also do about 6hrs a week of tutoring (last term was 3u maths, 2u physics, this term it's 3/4u maths)...
for the sake of convenience, I'll call the integration sign :) ... (you know, the sign that looks like a giant 'f' or distorted 's')
find primitive of (sinx)^2
:)(sinx)^2dx
=:)1/2(1-cos2x)dx
=1/2:)(1-cosu)(1/2du)
=1/4(x-sin2x)+C
the answer at the back of the book was...
You'll die of shame if you get under... 85
You won't tell anyone what you got if you get less than.... 90
You will be satisfied with over... 95
You'll be bloody estatic with over... 99
I think I'll do 11units. ... was suppose to hand in the subject selection form today but didn't. oh well.
anyways:
Maths 4u (we have at least 2 full 4u classes, our school just luvs maths)
English 3u (I'm doing 3 u because I always do better in ext english than advanced which is kinda...
Or is it based purely on Yr 12. (I doubt it but ... )
If part of it is based on yr 11, can somebody please give me the topics that we supposed to have done. My study notes are pretty dodgey and I want to be better prepared for Yr 12.
I know the major topics are household appliances...
Help on Integration Question involving Exponential Functions
Hi, this is my first thread on this site. Great site :)
I'm currently in year 11 and this question has been bugging me for hours, I got so confused.
Find the primitive function of:
(e^(1/x))/(x^2)
