Re: UWS Chatter Thread Is there really a difference between a low HD and a high HD? I ended up getting all HD's first sem, but they're all quite low HD's - 85/85/87/89. Do universities consider actual MARKS, or is it predominately just GPA - where it's only really the 'band' that matters.

500 or 0.500 is considered 3 sig figs, so I can see why you lost the mark. It's tough marking but it's what will occur in the HSC, so I agree with it.

haha true, but i was a lazy ass in mx2.. all i had was my 2hr tutoring session each week, and nothing else, spent absolutely no time on it.

lol.. yes. around those marks. i probably got around 71% for mx1 and 40% for mx2.. maths defs letting my ATAR down.
