    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2010)

Also in some subjects you need to at least attempt the assessment, whether you fail or not. (though this certainly doesn't help in getting an overall pass)

    Eas

Both can be answered very quickly by googling EAS and UMAT

    Depression

Doesn't sound like fucking depression you retard, just stress. Anxiety over uni work/school work is perfectly normal up to a certain level. Depression doesn't magically go away in the holidays.

Is it true uni is more relaxing than HSC year?

Yes it is, I did arts in first year. Complete waste of time and straight Ds and HDs in essays on no effort.

    Depression

These tend to be, like you said, environmentally affected episodes, not so much severe chemical imbalances.

    Depression

I think it's actually six, but if further treatment is necessary they will often keep subsidising, particularly if the patient is a young adult.

    Depression

Mine has lasted through several moves interstate, 2 stints overseas, 5 schools and 1 uni. I'd say it just going away is pretty damn rare for clinical depression, ask any psychiatrist. Are you sure yours wasn't just a prolonged situational episode, as that's really, really weird?

    ITT: FML I hate uni.

Don't tell me that. :( I have a textbook though at least, lol

    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2010)

I have been to like 6 lectures this semester. They have nothing to do with doing well.

    What have you eaten today?

    Coco pops Chocolate cake

Do you turn heads when you are out with your partner?

My brother is 196cm I think. Stupidly tall and skinny. I am short for my family. :(

Do you turn heads when you are out with your partner?

Aww, I'm sorry, you just weren't what I expected! You were lovely though, though a bit shy. :) Oh, I didn't realise most girls were so little, lol.

Do you turn heads when you are out with your partner?

Really? I would have thought being taller would make me look a bit gawky, with heels I'm often as tall as or taller than the guys.
  14. bio_nut

Do you turn heads when you are out with your partner?

I giggled, then laughed later. You were just so cute and little, and nawwwwww! :p
  15. bio_nut

Do you turn heads when you are out with your partner?

What does built to wear heels mean? I'm 173cm
  16. bio_nut

    What have you eaten today?

Have some healthy wholegrains too for energy and it's pretty good. :)
  17. bio_nut

    What have you eaten today?

Ate heaps today because had assessments: 2 crumpets with honey and butter Half a mocha Pasta with vege sauce and cheese, 3 small pieces of brie, salad, quarter of an avocado, half a piece turkish bread Two slices toasted turkish bread with vegemite Hot chocolate Chai latte

    What have you eaten today?

Um, you're not eating enough. Stay away from junk if you like, but eat some healthy food instead, or you're not going to stay off the junk for long! edit: particularly carbs for energy, you need something more substantial for lunch to keep you going
  19. bio_nut

Do you turn heads when you are out with your partner?

You must be absurdly short, not just a tad. I met omar and he's so short I couldn't help laughing. Sorry :(

    Dumb to smart?

But that's the thing. I never did any work in junior school, I didn't even start doing homework until year 12, yet always received marks in the 90s. They let any moron and his dog pass junior school in Australia.
