Teachers talk non-stop about how important the HSC is but other people have told me that there are other ways to get into uni if you don't get a good UAI. What also really sucks is that your UAI doesn't last forever if you want to have a gap year like I do...

The staff are extremely shallow. Two of my friends walked in there and one of the staff members came up to my friend who, to put it blankly, is drop dead gorgeous and anyway the staff member was like "hey, did you wanna work here?" so my friend said "Ok, can my other friend work here as well?"...

Not that I know of, we haven't really had set work so far besides some sheets. Our teacher usually gives us a topic and we write a story about it. At the moment we're looking at the novel 'A Thousand Splendid Suns'.

Well I originally chose Biology because I wanted a science for some variety but the moment my teacher mentioned cells I swaped to Ancient History quick smart. I don't particularly like it but it was the only other subject on the line that I was willing to do.

I have a similar problem. I sleep really well in the afternoon but at night I lie awake hour after hour.
