F/BR - Do we really need to talk about "what makes us human?"

Btw, how much quotes are you guys using? I've only got like 5 altogether xD Are quotes really necessary for this module? I've been under the impression that quotes are only necessary for Mod B (critical study of text), and for poems :S I'm seriously shitting bricks xD

F/BR - Do we really need to talk about "what makes us human?"

I completely forgot about "do robots dream of android sheep?" xD Fehk, now you've persuaded me to continue writing about it Dx Oh well, the more prepared the better I guess. Frkn headache TT^TT

F/BR - Do we really need to talk about "what makes us human?"

That is exactly what I was wondering. It really is just question commonly posed by both F and BR imo. :S I've kept my essay based on how their contexts influence the way they represent the destructive nature of science and man's insatiable desire to attain power. I hope I'm doing this shit...

F/BR - Do we really need to talk about "what makes us human?"

I guess I'm just lazy, but I've already written over 920 words without a conclusion, so I'm afraid that I'll run out of time in the exam So do we really need to talk about it? I was just appending it to my essay just then, but I was wondering whether or not to just scrap it altogether. It's...

turning creative story into feature article?

zzz...too much effort >.> The prospects of jumping out the window seems much more appealing :D

turning creative story into feature article?

I'm just gonna jump out the window if the creative can't be a narrative, or if the essay can't be an essay lmao.

    Who else is shitting bricks?

High five. I ended up skipping question 4 for the short answers, and I didn't finish my belonging essay because I ran out of time aha.

    How many related texts?????

No, you need to have 5 for each text. Nah seriously, I've prepared two for both mod c and belonging. I'm probably gonna use two for belonging, but only 1 for mod c.

    English Creative writing

xD it's just that he has a mathematical and methodical brain. He's seriously got photographic memory and he's amazing at working systematically, which is why he's first in math, mx1, physics, chem, business and sor1 :P But unfortunately for him, those abilities aren't necessarily useful in...

    English Creative writing

Hahaha the dux of my school can't write narratives well, and he had the word 'belong' in like every 3rd sentence xD.

    Who else is shitting bricks?

I am. I'm seriously only just finishing my mod A (F/BR) essay right now, and I've still got a bit of notes for Mod B (Hamlet) to write Dx Need to start memorising :( On a side note, are there any hsc graduates that have time to mark my essays and creative? :)

    Possibility?

I reckon a lot of the cutoffs for UNSW are inflated, so there's a good chance for you to get in.

What HSC marks are you aiming for?

    Eng Adv - 96 Math - 83 Physics - 78 CAFS - 98 SDD - 94 SOR1 - 45 Just what I'm aiming for, not necessarily realistic xP

I wouldn't risk it. ORTs are meant to assess how well you can analyse a text by yourself. But if you use a prescribed text for another module, it's very possible that that is one of your core texts that you studied. Consequently, most of the analysis could've been done for you, even though...

    need to know programming

Gigacube's right, but if your teacher opts to do a major, you're gonna need to learn a language. This may be taught to you by your teacher, or you can choose to learn one yourself. It just has to be an approved language. I personally suggest lua. I found it really easy to learn the basics...

who else has to listen to music to get back into the mood of studying?

If the subject is english or any other subject that requires deep introspection and critical thinking, then music is just detrimental to my study. But if its like math, which is largely mechanical and systematic, then I find that music is helpful to get that adrenaline pumping during long study...
