    Is physics hard?

If you get a good textbook like Jacaranda and apply yourself you will have no trouble at all, especically because you are doing 3 unit anyway should be no trouble for you. Good Luck!

Is taking three sciences too much? Pointer please

I do all three at its fine, especially if you like science as has been stated before. However I think you want to choose carefully as the workload is NOT a problem however if you do all sciences insteed of 2 sciences and Economics or Modern History you may regret it. I don't lose sleep over...

    Study Guides?

What is everyone's oppinion on study guides. Given the fact that the HSC is only 1 term away I want to get all my textbooks before it starts. After doing some research I have Conquering Chem for chem, Jacaranda for physics and Heineman for bio. For the prelim being fairly uneducated about the...

Is it possible to Pickup Subjects through Tafe.

Given that I am halfway through yr 11 is it possible for me to pickup a subject through tafe? I realise as sort of a thing on my bucket list to learn Latin. But it would be more of a incentive to do It if I got it on my HSC. Anyway some help if I can actually do this would be awesome. Thanks

    GAME in administration...

I used to like game but unlike you guys I had a negative experience with them so I have been going to Eb again since </3. What happened was, I preorderd the SWTOR and it didn't come out in Australia at the time anyway. I asked for my money back and they said store credit only. Their not all that...

    Chemistry question!

a "stoichiometric" reaction is where all of the products are used up e.g 2 mol Hydrogen gas reacts with 1 mol of oxygen gas to form 1 mole of water. In a stochiometric reaction there is no limiting reagent.

    Maths Question

I had my half yearlies for MX1 today and there was a question that no one that I asked worked out. I dont think its particularly difficult however we are all stumped. The question was a+b=6 and ab=4 find the values of a and b and solve 1/a + 1/b ;)

How much would a raw mark of 90 for Chem be scaled up to?

Here's a thread which should explain your question http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=269611.

Is it concerning if one hasn't made many notes?

Not sure I agree with this, I know there just notes but at the same time would you say "hey bro I've got no money and you've got heaps give me some brah, otherwise you're a shit friend."...

    which is the better option?

Mabye just have a look around the Bio fourms. There should be some good info in there.

    which is the better option?

Your Lucky, At my school we don't get to pick which option we do for all of our sciences. I'm doing genetics next year because that's what the teacher likes...

    Chemistry preliminary question

It's a pretty silly question in my oppinion however, Its just like endothermic and exothermic reactions. Endothermic sucks in heat(energy) and Exothermic expells heat. I hope this helps. Also I've only done the Chemical Earth and Metals so there may be something I'm missing...

All of that will not matter if you come 1st.

    Refraction Question

But if the wave passes through the barrier unbent and their is no information that the wave slowed down then it would be wrong to assume that it slowed down. So it makes C the correct answer.
  17. D

    Refraction Question

I think its C, because the light bent and therefore refraction occured. In W and X I don't think there is refraction because the light does not bend and It is impossible to tell if refraction occured. Whats your reasoning for D?

Is there any particular reason you need to memorise them? It seems rather pointless to me
