    Mhm... 97.3% x 96.91% = 94.29% in short (though heroic has explanations)

Re: Chess thread? I'll play someone o: I'm pretty bad though

    Topic Sentences... Include techniques??

O_O I've always done one paragraph for each quote. So would you use multiple quotes that support the same idea? (I do one paragraph one quote one idea)
  4. HSC2014

    What are your strongest subjects?

    I believe this is normal.

    Reactivity of O2 and O3

Hmm... what about ethane vs ethene then? From the O3 vs O2 argument, O3 is more reactive due to it's overall weaker intramolecular bonds - however this doesn't apply to ethane.

    Reactivity of O2 and O3

There is a difference between stability and reactivity (I believe) which you guys aren't addressing. O3 is less stable than O2 due to weaker overall covalent bonds (UV energy is absorbed by bonds) and hence more easily decomposed. However this does not directly translate to O3 being more...

Oh haha, well are you gonna be frequenting BoS now that it's year 12? I could use some of that math magic you possess :L

What do you mean by that :P Yeah it's been good. Burnt out in year 10~ but after a year I think I have my motivation on track just before the HSC starts which is good.

Holy **** you are back? Hi math guru.

  10. HSC2014

    Complex number representations

Not quite the reverse since you use point R = z1z2. In the question I posted above, I am trying to prove that point R = z1z2 (if that is correct).
  11. HSC2014

    Complex number representations

    Hmm... from "OAP ||| ORQ" I can get: OR/OA = OQ/OP (corresponding sides) OR = OQ/OP i.e. |z3| = |z2|/|z1| Hence arg (z3) = arg z2 - arg z1? Therefore z3 = z2/z1 ? I feel dodgy LOL

    Year 10 advanced yearly help

Not necessarily. I have never written notes (apart from a page or two across the entire year) and have been fine. :)
  13. HSC2014

    Complex number representations

On the argand diagram A, P, Q respectively represent complex numbers 1, z1, z2. Construct point R such that the triangles OAP and ORQ are similar. Hence, find the geometrical meaning of the point R. I have no clue; could someone help please? Thanks :)

    Year 10 advanced yearly help

Why do you need notes for math?
  15. HSC2014

Keep making generic essays (untimed) or start doing past paper essays (timed) ?

What is the difference between a generic essay and a proper one?

  18. HSC2014

    What are your strongest subjects?

Hi guys, just wondering where everyone's strengths are in terms of subjects? I like to think math is my strongest followed by the sciences. And far behind is english. P.S. If you're english oriented please help me T_T I can help with math!
  19. HSC2014

    Still Possible?

No need to be picky. "Should've" phonetically sounds like "should of" which is an easy mistake when typing without attention.
