    Michelson Morley experiment

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MichelsonMorleyAnimationDE.gif The one on the right was what M&M thought the light would do, so by rotating the apparatus the interference pattern created by the 'recombining' of the light beams would be different to the first. As we know there was no different...

    Post Half Yearlies Estimate

I think UWS offers a garbage disposal course for around an ATAR of 49! Great career prospect! :P nah haha jks That being said, garbos actually get pretty good money. But yeah, it really depends how you perform in the externals! In with a chance for a 99.95 with those ranks! Good luck!

    Post Half Yearlies Estimate

Your ranks are all very poor, so probably an ATAR of around 52. :P

OPERATIONS Acronyms for Current Business Studies Syllabus

An acronym I use for the financial goals is: P.GELS - Profitability, Growth, Efficiency, Liquidity, Solvency. For some reason it just works for me. I won't say my other ones because they're just really random and probably wouldn't work for anyone else.

How to write a Business Report !?

Fundamentally, a business report is just an essay with headings, diagrams and graphs, which cuts straight to the point (i.e. doesn't beat around the bush).

    What rankings/marks needed for a 95+ ATAR?

It would be very inaccurate to suggest to you a 'mark' or 'rank' which you should achieve in order to obtain your desired ATAR of 95+. This is due to a few reasons. Firstly, every cohort/year has different students of different abilities, so your cohort could be exceptionally good or also, on...

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

Re: HSC Physics Marathon 2014 Sorry! I forgot to post another question! Here is a pretty simple projectile motion question: A projectile is fired at a velocity of 50m/s at an angle of 30 degrees to the horizontal. Determine the range of the projectile. 4

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

Re: HSC Physics Marathon 2014 Q.1. I haven't got a calculator around me atm. Q.2. By definition, the crew are NOT weightless as they are accelerating due Earth's gravitational field, therefore, a force is acting upon them (which is a weight). However, they would feel to be weightless as...

Learning calculus (differentiation and integration) year 10

Like others have said, its fine as long as you are capable of learning it and can understand it.

    General vs 2u

    * ...In comparison to general that is.

    General vs 2u

I think you misinterpreted what I said. I didn't mention difficulty at all. The point I was making was that the content learnt in 5.3 covers a majority of the content in general.

    General vs 2u

Definitely give 2U a go. I've heard general maths is pretty much a repeat of the 5.3 course with a few little 'added extras'. You can always drop down to general if you find it too hard, but you can't move up. Ultimately, the decision is up to you... Hope all goes well! :D

    Maths (2unit)

Of course!! You still have the rest of the year AND the HSC exam which you can 'redeem' yourself in. That being said, you will just need to work harder to ensure a band 6. :D :D

    Has anyone here done SIBT?

Oh, and they weren't offered anything (well, I don't think so anyway). I'm pretty sure they applied for the course/program.

    Has anyone here done SIBT?

Ahh, to be honest, I'm not really sure how they found SIBT, but it didn't really matter. The purpose of SIBT was to simply just get them into their desired university degrees.

    Has anyone here done SIBT?

Hi Robbie, Two of my sisters have been through the SIBT Program/Course. Sure, it is fairly expensive, but in the long run it is definitely worth it in the long run. For example, a few years ago my sister was only receiving a very low salary in the occupation which she was in at the time. Last...

    Questions by Topic

Ahh ok sweet as! I'll give Phoenix 3U a look. I'm a bit devo - Our school supplies us with Maths In Focus text books, which are good when you're just learning a topic, but i've found that they lack more challenging, exam type questions. :( haha Oh well! :P
