I certainly did =) A friend ended up coming with me, it was really lovely of her. So I went to the little talk in MS202 after the intro @ Great Hall, then grabbed a free lunch and looked for all my rooms. I also checked out The Forum sports/aquatic centre, looks like fun! All in all a...

How old will you be when you graduate from uni?

Lol. Bad stereotype, eh? Yes, I do plan on doing medicine. But no, that is not the sole reason I chose Biomed. I chose it because there are many pathways leading from this degree, including teaching and research. These are also the things which are tempting me to do med postgrad instead =P

So our school picked Forensic Chemistry...

LESSONS OF SHEER AWESOMENESS!!! That module, I must say, was my favourite part of the whole of HSC Chemistry. A significant amount of biology overlap at the start, and some physics overlap in the last topic. Enjoy =D

    yoga & losing weight

Yoga is excellent for improving flexibility, circulation and concentration. Depending on the positions and sequences used, it can provide a low-impact way to elevate your heart rate. I am not familiar with many of the sequences, but I do know 'Salute to the Sun' does this quite effectively...

Just thought I'd let you guys know (particularly sam5 and Kaatie) that we are not required to be in a Biomedical Science PASS group - despite their titles, I have been told that they have more Biomed students than places in, so feel free to enrol in which ever one best suits your timetable. Yay! Yeah, I did notice that. Some of the tutorials which i thought we'd have to enrol in weren't actually on the online registration system. Yeah, I knowingly put myself up for epic Tuesdays! But there's a 2 hour break before the chem1010 lecture, so we'll have some recovery time =P...

Ah cool, good luck with it! I know what you mean, my timetable isn't all that lovely either. But it got better today when I discovered I have one less tutorial. Because of that, I'll be going 4 days a week. I have a 1-hour lecture on my day off, but I'll probably end up skipping that one a...
