    UWS Medicine Degree DILEMMA!

Why not do Science/ Science (advanced) or soemthing like that and do medicine post grad. The science degree will give you a good grounding and allow you to still do medicine at unsw or usyd

What is diff. between Early round and main round?

If you got an early round offer and didnt change your preferences you will not get an offer in main round.

How many days do you go to uni?

Honours you do after completing a bachelor degree. More research based and increases employment opportunities as you are more qualified. Requires a high GPA to get into.

Ahmad Shah Style-Based Notes, Revised, Edited, Perfected.

Getting a 90+ atar is far from failure. Yeah fair enough i sounded abusive but it does jsut seem such an insignificant thing to get a hang up about. What are you doing/intend to do at uni?

Ahmad Shah Style-Based Notes, Revised, Edited, Perfected.

Exactly people theres no blueprint method which, if you follow, will get you top marks. Fuck I even know a family member who would only start studying a few days before the exams and they still came out with top marks. The adrenalin, along with exceptionally focused study worked for them and...

Ahmad Shah Style-Based Notes, Revised, Edited, Perfected.

This. I know people who are just better at taking information in and studied maybe a few hours a night and got 99.95 whereas i know other people who maybe didnt study 6-9 hours a day (thats just ridiculous) but studied much much more and landed up with much lower marks.

Ahmad Shah Style-Based Notes, Revised, Edited, Perfected.

i just read the first paragraphs. if you chose to do the hsc again with 90.2 becuase you could get into the course you wanted but not happy with your marks you're a complete idiot. if you did it again because you couldnt get into what you want youre an idiot as there are so many ways to transfer...

hey, can you please tell me which types of biomedical engineering would fall under which of the more 'generic' engineering streams? i remember from the usyd info day the lecturer had a good diagram showing what falls under which type of engineering and wheres there an overlap. only thing i can...

Arts at USYD or Arts/Laws at MACQ

Id go to USYD and transfer to Arts/Law after the end of the first year or even do law through a JD. USYD has one of, if not the best, arts faculties in the country whilst also having a very very strong law faculty. The extra time spent, if you have to do it through JD, is well worth the effort...

    Which University?

    UWS

    Exchange

    Thanks.

    Senior Subjects and BMBS

A flaw in the system is you can get into any degree with any subjects as long as you reach the atar
  16. J

    Exchange

Just wanted to ask what the process would be for applying for exchange through the engineering faculty.
  17. J

    What is your first preference?

USYD and UNSW both have great law faculties and heads and shoulders above every other new south wales university for law. Global rankings suggest USYD is better but both are in the top 30 in the world so you really cant go wrong with either.
  18. J

How many days at uni per week?

How many hours/days as a rough estimate for engineering at USYD? How much more/less would it be than doing a science degree
  19. J

    What is your first preference?

Since the deadline closed last night its probably a good time to bump this up and see what others are doing
  20. J

    Info Days!

Also was it just me or were the USYD lectures so much better structured and more informative than the UNSW ones?
