I agree - so far the HSC has been one big anti-climax. I think it's because all of Year 11 and 12 your teachers are all "HSC this, HSC that" and by now everyone is just over it and wants to get it all over and done with. I used 15... an extra one each for questions 4, 7, 8, 9, 10. My writing is medium-large but I keep my working spread out so it is easy to read. In all of my second booklets only used 1 or 2 pages.

I didn't mind the paper, it was easier than most of the past ones and there wasn't really anything that had too big a sting in its tail. Not looking forward to ext on Wednesday though =S

In Biology, me and two others were submitted equal first because our assessment marks overall were only 0.1 apart. So supposedly we get the average of all three of our exams marks as our assessment marks.

I wrote about 2 pages for the 6 mark question, about 3.5/4 for the 7 mark one but I write fairly big in the exam booklets. In the 6 mark one did everyone else include things about the reliability and validity of secondary sources?

Re: how did you go? I liked the paper overall - nothing too tricky. I found the hardest question to be the one about the tympanic membrane on the insect in the communication option section. For the pathogen question I described the agar experiment.

I picked Food Product Development, it was a very straight forward question and I was able to write a fair bit about it. In having a look at all the past papers I would've picked FPD in most years. Food Manufacture = death.
