2.5years... I'd pay $250 no more. sorry, just doing some simple deprecitation in my head, taking that the average lifetime of a laptop is 3 years. to me, laptops depreciate very quickly no matter how good they are and how well they are taken care of.

until wimax comes out, wireless ISP's won't be any great. but if it's your only option, i guess you have to go with it. speeds are "ok" if you've got 1 computer. as soon as you put it on a network, you'll feel it.

toshiba's also have their downsides. It will depend on what range toshiba you're buying - similarly with dell. I'm not sure if Dell stores display their latitude range?
