I do think Australian universities should move to a more US style admissions system. The ATAR is a very poor indicator of how suitable somebody is for university.

There's no way to predict what this year's cut-off will be. It's possible, but really you are going to have to just wait and see.

The marks you received yesterday had been aligned. These marks are not used in the calculation of the ATAR. Note that aligning is different from scaling. UAC go back to your raw marks and apply the scaling process to determine your ATAR. You can read about scaling here...

The cut-offs for each round are published at the same time as offers are released.
