    Chinese (Cantonese, maybe Mandarin) if anything. Probably won't however. Why? Because my parents are Asian and can speak it, and i know very little of Cantonese and nothing of Mandarin. Asian not being able to speak any Asian language seems weird to me.

    If you see someone get a UAI of 33, do you assume that that person has learnt nothing from their courses of year 11 and 12? If not, what would you say is the point which indicates nothing learnt in years 11 and 12? I am aware UAI is rank, and not a mark. But what UAI ranking would indicate...

    What will you be doing post-HSC?

    Something like this... Get a gym membership, get fit. Get information/books for uni, if i get an offer (which i'll accept). Go for runs. Sleep. Repeat until i know i won't get any offers... If i don't get any offers :( then: Get a job. Work! Eat/Sleep Repeat.

    Unless you were doing one of the HSC maths exam, and the numbers you were writing were for answering questions for the actual exam. :)

    yeah give it a go. who knows if you make a lot of silly mistakes in one exam, but the modern ends up great, it could be your saving grace...thats what you chose to do 12 units for right? so that if you stuff up 1 subject's exam it won't matter as long as the other subjects are good...

    Great answer =), but, at first i thought it was Social and Moral - so did my legal studies teacher, but my Legal studies teacher got advice from the head teacher, and she said it was Social and Political because, if there is a government level involved, one of the factors has to be political.

    this is called the trial and error method, please don't use it, your going to waste too much time...instead just try multiplying 2 values... hence 1/3 * 1/3 which is 1/9

    if you are using a copy of the text that looks like that, the introduction they give for the play at the beginning (before the actual play script), is pretty good =), i found it quite helpful. If you're not using that version of the text, i hope u can get a hold of one. Otherwise look in BoS...
