    Advice for tomorrow/the year?

Keep up with the pace of your class at school. Then study a little harder from 2 weeks prior to exams. But never do a 10pm-5am study.

    Partial Fractions

It's because when you changed it, you effectively isolated the numerator, which does not have any restrictions. What I mean is, take this as an example (instead of your complicated one lol): 1/(x-1)(x-2)=A/(x-1)+B/(x-2)=[A(x-2)+B(x-1)]/[(x-1)(x-2)] Now, eliminate the denominator (i.e...

    Circular Motion Question

    The answer is correct. Don't forget to change cm to m before using it! That was the mistake. \\ T_2\geq 0 \\\frac{1}{2}(\frac{500mv^2}{64}-\frac{5mg}{3})\geq 0 \\ \frac{500mv^2}{64}\geq \frac{5mg}{3} \\ v^2\geq \frac{64g}{300} \\ v\geq \frac{8\sqrt{g}}{\sqrt{300}} \\ i.e.\, v\geq...

She just forgot to add the word 'coordinate' before covalent.

    raw mark in hsc

Hmm... I still doubt it but it's a good news - I can aim hgher than what I originally was trying to get in the exam. Btw, does this apply to Physics as well?

    raw mark in hsc

Sure about this? sounds pretty low Well, if this is true, it's good for me.

    CSSA VS Independant 2009

Agreed although I haven't been able to get my hands on the CSSA paper.

    Whose excited for the exam?

I also hate HSC Physics with a passion. Chem+Phys=a lot of memorisation+oversimplified cocepts

    Superconductors @#*$&!!!!

+1 But it's also that we can't possibly learn the full theory because they require the knowledge of quantum mechanics, etc, that we simply don't have time to learn. But BCS and suprconductivity shown in HSC textbooks are definitely confusing/wrong.

    CSSA 3unit paper.

LOL I don't want to re-start this argument but please back your argument up with statistical data or something that you know about me (and I realise that I'm asking for something impossible here) I know that it's an opinion but "100% sure" is a very definitive statement. You must have a...

    Whose excited for the exam?

lol, shipwrecks,... especially conservation, restoration and preservation of artefacts... I hate it Srsly... what am I going to do with this rote-learnt knowledge of how to treat recently recovered artefacts? As if I'm gonna take part in Australian maritime archeological projects...

    Water monitoring and management syllabus

Hmm, that's good then. It seems like I don't have to spend much time on this. Thanks again lol I wonder why I can't rep ppl... It's been quite awhile since I did it..

    Water monitoring and management syllabus

Oh, ok, thanks. That relieves me a bit... So I'd basically need to know how to carry out tests and just briefly what the devides I use relys upon (e.g. polarographic oxygen probe-->electrolysis involving diffused oxygen and sliver ring. DO causes variation in voltage and from it, [O2] is...

    Water monitoring and management syllabus

In this part of the module, the syllabus introduces factors that can be taken into account when considering water quality (e.g. turbidity). Another dotpoint says that we need to know about qualitative and quantitative tests for these factors. Then, does this mean that we just need to know what...

Le Chatelier - changing concentrations and gases

Just added one word but anyway +1 In the HSC, don't forget to say "gaseous" I'm pretty sure that it will affect your mark.

    2009 Question 7 & 8

Neither Everyone will be subject to identical conditions anyway.

Le Chatelier - changing concentrations and gases

It depends on the mole ratio of gases in the reaction (unless I misunderstood it)
