Does the chances of getting into a course change depending on the placement of preferences or the higher UAI? say if i put down commerce as 1st preference and was not offered a place, and i put down economics as my 2nd preference. Would i have a lesser chance to get into economics than a person...

it just means that since you proved a^a > b^a and b^b>a^b then if the two greater numbers are a^a and b^b multiplied together, it will still be greater the two smaller numbers multiplied b^a and a^b i fink^ lol
