Same with the Australia scientist one. I've never heard anything about Australian scientists in my life, hahah. I just said Australian scientists research diseases and this helps people live longer and stuff D: Thank god it was only 2 marks.

    Who found the SC Easy?

For the contrast I did the juxtaposition of the beast metaphor and the eyes of a human >___> I had no other idea, nothing else was very apparent to me at the time. God dammit, why did I choose chromosome?!

    Year 11 Helper

Anyone apply for St Marys Senior?

That's what I was hoping on. But ugh the lady just kept saying we can't let you do 14 units and arghhhh -____- I even had to fight for my thirteenth unit. Must've just been the person I got stuck with.

Anyone apply for St Marys Senior?

Hahhaah my friends were telling me about that maths quiz. No maths for me, I didn't even go to that section >_> I was pretty annoyed though because I went on the Tuesday and when putting in my subjects I was distinctly told 'There's no way you're doing 14 units' and I had to drop down to 13...

    About Continuers...

Ah, thanks :) I definitely don't know enough kanji, but I was hoping to improve that by learning vocab (like learn the kanji as part of a word, not by itself). Naw, I'm doing it through my school. They have a pretty good language course (from what I've heard) + native Japanese speaker which is...

Long Reef/Collaroy -Coastal Management Extended response

Foooound iiiit. Won't all necessarily be relevant, but the first half of it does talk about the physical features and various processes are mentioned. You can then use those processes to talk about the changes over time. And evalutating is easyyy ahah.

Long Reef/Collaroy -Coastal Management Extended response

Well, management practices include Longreef: re-establishing the foredunes there- i.e. putting vegetation, putting in walkways, signs Collaroy: they've bought land that was on the coastline, sand nourishment, signs And to evaluate them, just say stuff like bla bla sand nourishment is costly...

    About Continuers...

What level of Japanese would one need to cope at the subject? I didn't do Japanese in Year 9 and 10 (they didn't run a class) but I did it for a year in year 8 and continued study on my own (albeit not very efficiently). I know all the hiragana and katakana naturally but only around 25-30...

Which language should i do for the hsc [beginners]

The people who thought Japanese is hard obviously aren't trying hard enough- or I suppose that you just didn't want to learn it? It's going to be difficult to learn any language that you don't want to learn. Sentence structure and grammar in Japanese is, in comparision to English, extremely basic.

How quickly can I replace my keycard?

Really?! If so, ah, thank god. I'm going to the bank tomorrow regardless but that makes me a whole lot more positive about the concept.

How quickly can I replace my keycard?

I can't find my wallet, which just so happens to have my keycard. The thing is I'm going overseas this Friday and I'm going to have to need my keycard to withdraw money everynow and then in the trip. I guess what I'm asking is, can I potentially replace my maestro keycard (with the Commonwealth...

    year 10 formal

Ours is 60 bucks at a local RSL club. Nothing too fancy, especially since it's not organised by our school- just a group of students.

    I'm going to Japan

Ah, thanks guys. Harajuku was a given for me aahha. It just so happens that we have a free day in Tokyo on a Sunday, so Harajuku will be first thing that day. I really want to go to Tokyo Tower, but apparently it's heaps expensive? I guess we can just look at it...

    I'm going to Japan

I'm going too : D I leave on the 26th - the last day of school for the term. It'd probably feel like the longest school day ever, ahaha. But yeah, I'm going around Tokyo/Kyoto/Hiroshima. Any recommendations at all for shopping/attractions? It's with my school but not a homestay or anything, and...

What career choices can you identify from just looking at subject selections?

I don't think my main career choice would be very difficult to find out... But I've found that a lot of people do quite a varied group of subjects, like say maths extension, a language and then drama, which are very difficult to decipher in terms of a career path. I don't really understand...

Anyone apply for St Marys Senior?

From what I gathered, provisional placement just means that they've got a spot for you. You haven't formally enrolled yet, so they can't say "You're in!". Woah, 1400 o_o I didn't think that many applied. I think about 8 people from my school applied, and we all got in, so I pretty much...

University of Sydney - Open Day

I went. It was fun! I liked the debate and other stuff they had going on. I'll definitely go again next year, because this year I only really went because I was dragged along so I didn't use the day that efficiently. But I really liked the atmosphere, not to mention its pretty :) +The uni...
