    EAS for B.Science

From memory, if you got a band 6 in a science subject you get 5 bonus points automatically, I might be wrong though. EDIT: Read through this

USYD Bachelor of Science (Advanced Mathematics) Question

    You wouldn't know about that.

USYD Bachelor of Science (Advanced Mathematics) Question

I've only done first year (and I'm only doing BSc (Advanced), but I did maths SSP), but it's really not that stressful overall. I managed a HD average across first year maths without that much study. If you've got a decent amount of talent and you enjoy maths then you'll be fine.

    2013 HSC Results/ATAR banter!

Guys just make sure that you remember that the HSC is basically the most important thing you'll ever do in your life. So if you don't get the marks you're after, you've basically screwed up your future.

Comment if you play a weird, strange or different sport

I thought you were taking the piss, but I just looked it up and it's a real thing. That's seriously so awesome! I used to do bouldering (rock climbing on small walls without a harness) but stopped a few years ago. I play ultimate frisbee at the moment and if I can put on enough weight, I'll...

    Federal Election

Re: 2016 Federal Election I'm willing to call the election result now. Palmer United Party by a landslide majority (75+%), Liberals and Labor lose all their seats and the rest of the seats are dispersed between Greens and the Sex Party.

Arts/ Science or Liberal Arts and Science?

You might want to do MATH1111 which will teach you everything you need to know and is only open to non-HSC maths students so you'll fit in fine there. It's taught by David Easdown who's one of the top lecturers in the school. Alternatively you could do the bridging course (again, assumes you...

    Anyone into BICYCLE riding?

When I saw the thread title I assumed this was about steroid use. Thoroughly disappointed.

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official A-League Thread. Anyone watching smurfs v. victory? 2-2 after 27 minutes and the smurfs are down to 10 men. Probably the most exciting game this season so far.

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official A-League Thread. Santa just seemed really slow, there was a few times where he had a good 2-3m on his defender but ended up getting beaten to the ball. Juric is good, but like they were saying in the post-game review he needs to be able to work hard for the team like...

    Keiran Loveridge

Isn't the maximum sentence for manslaughter 25 years? 5 years and 2 months really isn't a long time. What are the mitigating factors in this case? I can't think of any. From memory (so this may be wrong), but NSW has a ridiculously high recidivism rate for violent crimes among young males...
