Imo i think its a bit late to change ur essays for ur trials, but its never too late for the actual hsc. i'd prob. spend more time memorising techniques etc. because itll be a waste of time to fix it when u can use that time for productive studying for other subjects. and you already have a...

its not about what u get its what u get compared to other people. for example if u get 14/48 in section 1 and then everybody in the state/country gets around 9/48, then 14 is actually pretty good.
