    The missing Malaysian Airlines...

It has without doubt crashed. It's not unusual for it to take some time to find the crash site. There's still a remote possibility of survivors but less so as it went down over water. Time is fast running out for rescue. Really the conspiracy crap isn't even worthy of discussion.

    How safe is Redfern?

Catch the campus bus to Redfern station. On Mon-Thurs it runs until 10.15. http://sydney.edu.au/current_students/transport_safety/campus-bus.shtml Alternatively you could walk or take a public bus to Central Station. I haven't had any problems around Redfern even at that time of night, but...

Enrolled at Two Unis but studying at One?

Oh sorry, thought you were a first year for some reason. If you are second year then yes you can take a leave of absence and that would be your best course of action.

Submitting an application form in paper form for student travel concessions?

If you have the transport concession logo on you student card then you've already been granted concession status. (You would have made the necessary declaration of eligibility during the enrolment process) No need to apply again. Just show your student card when buying a concession ticket.

Enrolled at Two Unis but studying at One?

You normally have to formally apply for a leave of absence, you can't just not enroll in any units. From the UTS rules: 7.8.3 An undergraduate or graduate coursework student who has not enrolled in any subjects and who has not applied for and had a period of leave of absence approved in...

    Cityrail travel ticket problem

In some cases it is cheaper to buy a ticket to a specific station in the city rather than 'City'. i.e to Central or Wynyard rather than 'City'. A ticket to a specific city station can still be used to/from all the city stations. This happens because the ticketing system adds 3.21km to 'City'...

Full time Uni AND full time work?

You would likely fail to meet your attendance requirements if you missed 4 weeks worth of classes.

What does asterisk next to the course mean?

That document is for 2013 admissions? You are 2014? An asterisk means no offers were made on the basis of the prior year's ATAR results. Hence no ATAR cut-off can be determined. There may have been offers made to non recent school leavers however.
