Hey can anyone help me out with some past papers relating to EXT 1 so i can practice before the HSC... I've already got tthe papers from this site.. but im looking at other papers.. papers from different schooll/ thanks

I manged to this in my trial x^2=4 therefore x= +- 4 also 1-1/root2 < 1+1/root2 < 1 see the logic mate..

haha i did mine too lol.. the hall was soo empty only 4 people.. I think i did well, except for this stupid poly mistake i did.. got tested on everything except half of mechanics and harder 3unit... my biggest/dumbest mistake was i coudn't tell the difference between 1-1/root 2 < 1 <...

Re: 回复: Re: 回复: Re: Polynomial transformation I know what you mean.. eg find the new poly with roots a^2-1 you just equate x=a^2-1 and make a the subject.. but in that case.. its hard to do.. doing it with quadratic is a pain.. i dont think you would be expected to do with a cubic or quad...
