it depends if the course you want to do states chemistry as a prerequisite or not because you can do a bridging course once you get to uni, and not do chem for the hsc. the excel books are pretty good i have the preliminary ones this year for extension maths, chemistry and legal studies and they have good summaries and exam questions.

legal studies is a really interesting course and far easier than economics which is maths based. I guess it also depends on the teacher but our legal lessons are so fun.
