Sociology of Everyday Life - SOC180 OR Economy and Society - SOC182

Hmm just looked at this: In general terms, a minor requires completion of half of the requirements of an approved major. In practice, a minor requires completion of 12 credit points taken from an approved major, including 6 credit points at 300 level. Looks like I'm going to be in for a big...

Sociology of Everyday Life - SOC180 OR Economy and Society - SOC182

Is it possible within 2 years to do that with just 4 units allocated to that? I've been looking at this in the education guide: "To meet expectations of prospective employers students are required to qualify for a second teaching subject. To be accredited for the second teaching area students...

Sociology of Everyday Life - SOC180 OR Economy and Society - SOC182

So I can't do 2 lev 100 units and 2 200 units? I didn't think to do a minor, for example in AHIS, you had to do 300 units? Edit: this is not to try your patience (or indeed, your sanity) but you can tell im sure that im confused as hell

Aww come on don't be like that... I think that it says you can do minors but you must do the 300 lev units required for your major.

Sociology of Everyday Life - SOC180 OR Economy and Society - SOC182

SPOTTED! Are there any requirements for minors that the uni sets down? The BaDipEd only says that you require a minimum of 4 units of study in the chosen area with at least 2 units over 200 level.

    Urgent! BA Dip Ed !

To say that i want to kiss you right now (regardless of gender!) would be an understatement.... THANK YOU SO MUCH... I've spend the whole morning recalibrating my timetable and re mapping out my degree... I asked the future students page and their sad yet typical response was 'ask this at...

    Urgent! BA Dip Ed !

Hmm. It's not in the suggested pattern of study? If so, it'll really stuff up my carefully balanced plan to do 3 teaching subjects instead of the standard 3 ...

    Urgent! BA Dip Ed !

Hi there. I just looked at my degree page: http://courses.mq.edu.au/undergraduate/combineddegree/bachelor-of-arts-with-the-diploma-of-education/major-in-modern-history. I just got the shock of my life... Do I have to do any POL units to become a modern history teacher? It's not in the suggested...

    People and Planet Units

Nice question op. Tbh I think Mac uni is unfair in forcing us to do p/p/p units. I would much rather prefer it if those slots which they occupy went to bolstering my degree. Also, while I'm in rant mode, the selection of units isn't very good (esp. for planet units) for people who hate science...

    Abortion

I support Abortion in theory. Wether I do in practice is circumstantial to each woman/partner/husband's circumstance and is also regulated by the fairness/effectives of the laws of land which moderate abortion.

    Timetabling ...

Hi all. Well! After numerous attempts (and on different browsers) I have finally managed to sought out my timetable for session 1. How Australia's number one 'modern' university can host such a buggy timetable is infuriating and beyond me at the same time. I digress. Using the slow 'list'...
