Is it possible to do actuarial studies with only advanced maths?

Maybe it's worth asking what about actuarial (as a field of study and also as a career path) is appealing to you?

Does anyone know how and where to buy Sony PS5 for a reasonable price?

A few places had them in stock lately. I bought mine from Gamesmen last week but had to buy a bundle for $969 including another controller and GT7. Worked for me since I would've bought those items anyway, and I had enough trade in credit such that I only had to pay $5. Best to call around and...

Where do most people work after Graduation (Non-Engineering Jobs)

Nope, consulting is much more broad. It could be any kind of consulting really, eg management consulting. Even in my line of work which started off in banking regulatory work we have engineers since the skillset can be used in a very different way whether it be process engineering or trying to...

    Key Accounting Policies?

I would've picked something which has more judgement/wiggle room in it... like the financial instruments valuation, lease accounting, or even the good ol' revenue recognition.

Test and compare your internet speed

Now that I'm on Vodafone 5G Home (instead of GigaComm's FTTdp) I'm having to make do with these less impressive speeds... Although still better than the NBN100 which is the best I can get in this unit.

    Cadetship and overseas exchange

Depends on the terms of the cadetship and the structure. Usually you have some time for full time study in a cadetship (ie no work commitments) which would then be ideal for you to go on exchange during this time.

    Key Accounting Policies?

Depreciation method makes sense. Inventory valuation method also makes sense. But I don't get why you'd pick goodwill?

Is it worth doing engineering and commerce together?

Depends what you want to do with your life though... doing a double degree for the sake of doing a double degree (surprisingly this happens more often than you'd expect) just leads to more HECS debt and a longer time before you start actually working. Think about where you might want to work in...

Test and compare your internet speed

Not counting the free wifi on campus, I have seen some ridiculously fast internet speeds at universities here and abroad... I can't remember the name of the service but there used to be a single login which got you onto wifi at campuses around the world (or at least there was back in the late...

Test and compare your internet speed

Are your uploads being throttled (eg have you been torrenting/seeding alot), or is there something else shaping your uploads like your router's QoS algorithms? Try with a different device as well to see what it gets.

Test and compare your internet speed

Moved my modem and changed to a new telephone cable and saw the speeds improve.

Which tutoring companies pay the best for graduate high school students?

If extrapolated at 40 hours per week (which I assume isn't the case but this makes it fun for discussion) that's $145k p/a! Not bad.

Which tutoring companies pay the best for graduate high school students?

Tutoring seems to always be the profession which pays the best for (decent) high school graduates.... and it remains competitive even when you should be applying for graduate roles after finishing your degree in many fields. (top tip though: unless you're planning to start and scale up a decent...

    Will I ever find love?

That, and to do well at uni, get a good/stable job with a decent income, and then you'll appeal to a new demographic. ... or just launch a startup, grow it, sell it for bazillions, and then be the most eligible bachelor of the year. (on a more serious note, I met my wife when I was 26 at...

Test and compare your internet speed

Yep - unlimited. It's a new company called GigaComm which have their own 5G infrastructure and rely on bouncing singals between their towers in densely populated areas around/near the CBD, and then install their own fibre wiring within the buildings so you aren't relying on much legacy copper...

Test and compare your internet speed

Just upgraded my home internet connection to 5G....

    LinkedIn help

How many connections do you have? If it's limited, I suspect LinkedIn is just guessing based on some obscure relationship with the few connections you have. But honestly I wouldn't stress since it's not like the recommended contacts/suggestions means anything.

    co-op scholarships or ubs cadetship

    1. Didn't need caps in subject. 2. Is the tech role at UBS something you're genuinely interested in, or did you just go for it because it sounded good/was a job with a reputable organisation? 3. Which coop scholarship did you get at UTS? 4. What do you actually want to do career-wise? Generally...

    Favourite item of clothing

I wonder how much of a difference there is between private and public school uniforms. I went to a small religious private school and remember my parents relief when I went to a public school after when it came to uniform pricing.
