    Physics prac - need help

go to the lab's and practice, practice, practice. also make sure you know the work and know how to write up the practical, this of course depends if they are going to ask you to write the prac up. if they will then practice this. mostly they will ask you slightly different to what you expect...

    HSC Board of Studies Answers

The Board of Studies does not publish answers, only Marking Guidelines and Examiners Comments. However there are many 3rd party publishers which publish books with solutions. Also check the resources section of this site as it contains answers to past HSC's.

    Standard vs Advanced

for the purposed of the UAI ONLY: Band 6 in Standard is better than a Band 5 in Advanced. Band 5 in Standard is better Band 4 in Advanced. 88 in Standard is better than 80 in Advanced. This is because they are scaled the same way. HOWEVER it is harder to get a band 6 in standard than a...

    Study group

yeah true.. most people will just end up socialising, instead of talking about actual hsc related work. however if you get the right people, it can work out it doesn't always end like this.

    Study group

you can do what you like, but i think you should either A. Go though past exam questions and discuss with the others what you think you could write about and then see what the others would write. Often others will think of good things that you would never have thought of and you will think of...

    UNSW HSC Plus!

If you ask me, this is just another one of the uni's dodgy methods to get more students while not lowering their uai (as lowering the uai would mean that high achieving students will think "i have a uai of 99.95 it would be stupid to waste it on this course which has a cut-off of 65"...

    Half Yearly Papers

Re: Request: Half Yearly Past Papers i agree with cal- just do past hsc and trials and skip the questions that you haven't done. most schools, or at least the two that i know of, just steal questions from past hsc's, cssa trials, and nsw ind trials, so the more you do the more prepared you will...
