I think I did 4 hrs everyday from the second half of year 10 :L Burnt out completely- and that was year 10. I'm thinking 3hrs is steady atm. 30% on maths; 25% english; 20% chem; 25% physics. whoops, no room for modern or bio.

teachers who are idiots (sounds harsh, but have been there) make for students who do not succeed to their maximum potential. Also, if they hate you they may mark you more harshly. If this happens during the HSC, ranks drop = ATAR destroyed!

Not unless u have to pass something to do a course. probs won't even make anyone go to general, just a scare tactic. It worked, but not enough to get anyone of us to study :P

So I've been told by our negative maths teachers... first i put in for 2U and they were like " you don't pass, you go to general. It's a very demanding course; did you come top 15 at your previous school ? " And that was without looking at my report or anything. Apparently quadratics occur heaps?

Sound pretty good :) If you're really focusing on maths then your are distributing your time well. But don't you think a bit more time on chem and physics would be helpful seeing as they are 2 of the hardest non ext subjects? maybe 30 minutes also? And with eco would you need a bit of extra...
