    General Thoughts: Engineering Studies

i think i got 180 MPa, but i didn't even realise what the units where, i just used the values in the formula. drawing was some sadistic messed up shit! they lure u into a false sense of security with an easy 2 marker, then BAM! 5 mark assembled isometric sketch. WTF! And that demodulation...

How is everyone studying for engineering?

3u>engineering, since maths has bonus points for unsw. Engineering exams are hit or miss for me; when i see a question, its either i will know the answer, or i hav absolutely no clue. I'm counting on close to full marks in MC, Q11, drawing and calcs to make up for the bs responses in forming...

I accidently didnt write what I was mean to "examination" column is that alright?

I don't want to scare u but I think it's not fine - markers aren't suppose to know who's work their marking, so if u put ur name anywhere on the paper i think they can't mark that booklet, that's what i'm guessing. Just don't look back, keep ur momentum and study for ur upcoming exams, good luck!

    Engineering studies marks

thats true, from hsc mark to scaled mark it sucks. the mistake here is one i've seen way too often, people think that because it doesn't scale well, they need 90% raw marks to get a B6, which is not true. I will worship anyone who gets 90% raw marks in the HSC engineering exam.

    Engineering studies marks

Engineering 'Scaling', in its proper context is only just above business studies, and similar to maths, so its not great. When we are talking about how well raw marks translate into aligned exam marks, i've heard engineering is comparable to 3u maths (E4 cutoff is ~68%), although since engg is...

Bill of exchange vs. Letter of Credit

A letter of credit is like a promise from the importer's bank that the payment will be made to the exporter, once proof of shipping is shown. Conversely, a bill of exchange is a document from the exporter's bank demanding payment from the importer by a specified date. They are kinda opposite...
