They are taking one unit of IPT found out from my careers adviser when doing an atar estimate and got 57.15 Don't think I will reach 75.20 from that. :cry:

i'm guessing its course by course and they add it together.

The assessment marks are adjusted/scaled by your cohort (so your school year). That is what I was trying to find out. Thanks. Also what marks are scaled. Are the HSC marks also scaled or is it just added onto the moderated assessment mark.

But it is scaled through your school or state...

I don't care how its calculated. My school is an average school. If the marks from assessments and the HSC is scaled from the school, most likely it will mean a better ATAR score. Just wanting to know if it is the state or the school assessment marks and the HSC marks are scaled from.

I mean assessment marks and HSC marks separately are scaled using the amount of students in the state or school. Sorry if I worded it confusingly.

Is it the rankings of the state that determine the ATAR or is it the ranking from school.

I'm in a catholic school... RE is compulsory so everyone selected one unit... (Did i forget to put that on?)

RE is not counting for my ATAR. Maths is... :cry: And the actual atar of the course i want to do is 75.15

I know why no one is doing an approximation... Its impossible for me to get an atar of over 74 with my marks... :cry:

I am definitely an average student and get 50 and over to about 72. Is it possible to get a good ATAR if I get these marks in my internal and external tasks. I usually get passed my year and class average in my school exams and projects (not sure with HSC). I also know I didn't do well in trials...

ATAR Estimate of 57.15... Now tell me how I can get to 76 with a fail in maths.

Really... ATAR Estimates of 47-57 to 76, with a certain fail in Maths and possibly English in the HSC. I seriously don't think I will get close at all.
