What do you want to do at uni?

English (Advanced): AOS, Module A. MX1: About half. MX2: "Only" mechanics, integration, volumes, graphs, half of conics to go. Physics: Most of the first two (a bit of M&G to go). Economics: First two and external stability (I'll finish the course by the end of the holidays).

I'm in my fifth straight hour of economics today. It's really a shitty subject. Math is fun, indifferent to physics. English can die.

One of my friends transferred from a REALLY low-ranked school at the end of year 11 for year 12. That said, I can't really give you even a vague figure of your chances...

MX1 and MX2 were worth 30%! Then again we only have 4 maths assessments but trials are still worth 40% >_> I wish they'd just do a 25/25/25/25 split or something. Then again, how unlikely...

It's probably intimidation. My guess is people are still bitter from year 6 rejections and are trying to justify themselves, rather than building a bridge. After all, entry is the outcome of a year 6 test, not genetic makeup or anything. I'll get off my high horse now... :)
