Your internal marks aren't what's important. The important thing is your rank. Every school sits different internal assessments. These are not equal. A school's internal assessments could be easier or harder than another school's, or a teacher may mark harder or easier. So it wouldn't be fair...

But OP was ranked first. And if they were ranked first then their internal mark should have been the highest external mark. If OP's external mark is higher than the internal mark there's a problem because they haven't been given the highest external mark as their internal mark.

If your internal mark is lower than your external mark there's a problem. If your internal mark is higher than your external mark then maybe somebody in your class did better than you.
