That was written by Peter Brown from UNSW. He told me that he also marked it and that no one got full marks for Q8 that year. He did say that most of them got close though.

You really only need to worry about that when you're doing applications to ODEs and you need to deal with initial conditions etc. Makes it a bit easier.

Mechanics is just (proper) Physics. You'll be doing that stuff all the time in 1st year physics at university. Very nice topic :)
