Which uni should I do science at?

So it really doesn't matter...? Oh well... Well in that case, I guess it's off to MQ for me!

Which uni should I do science at?

I'm aiming for a bachelor of science course next year, but I don't know which uni I should go to. With my marks right now, I should be able to get a UAI of around 80-85. I'm looking at either Sydney, UNSW or Macquarie... I'm also kind of considering University of Queensland or Monash University...

Raped by her uncle, but can she have an abortion?

If your opinions are justified with some kind of reason, then yes you can. But if you say something like "Oh no, abortion is wrong" and leave it at that, then it's useless. That's what I meant by 'fundies'. So if you give a good enough reason as to why abortion is wrong in this case, then people...

Raped by her uncle, but can she have an abortion?

I read the whole of this thread, mostly out of boredom. Needless to say, it gave me the lulz. It went from a news story about an 11 year old girl who got raped, to an abortion debate and then to a fight over whether or not you can do both senior science and another science subject (which you can...

    Question on exponential intergration

Hey, thanks! I tried that before, but I got something else other than 2/12 at the start, somehow.

    Question on exponential intergration

Re: 回复: Question on exponential intergration You know, that's what I was thinking too. I tried re-arranging to lny^2 using log laws, but that just made things worse. Oh well. Maths in Focus isn't a really good textbook anyways.

    Question on exponential intergration

This question is from Maths in Focus (revised edition), page 152 8. Use Simpson's rule with 5 function values to find the volume of the solid formed when the curve y=e^x is rotated about the y-axis from y=3 to y=5, correct to 2 significant figures. According to the book, the answer is 12...

    race, genetics and intelligence

That's me! Lol. That's also true. Could the way the brain develops also be genetic? Like with how a person grows physically is genetic? Sounds like an interesting topic for research...

    race, genetics and intelligence

And because of that, any correlations between races would be inaccurate. So why does this even matter? What is intelligence, anyway? What one person's definition of intelligence could be someone else's definition of stupid. Similarly, you can't define or measure sanity, happiness (and any other...

    Does God exist?

While I have some belief in a higher power, I can't say I completely believe in God either. I'm aiming for a Bachelor of Science course, but it seems that my school is trying to lead me to believe that if I want to study science, I have to become an atheist...:uhoh: As for taking the Bible...
