Disagree...I only just missed out on an HD in phys 142 at UOW on a grand total of half hour per week study and actually fronting to lectures... I've been told 2nd year stuff is much harder though

No you shouldn't have, but you have to if you wish to do well in today's highly competitive school system. Its ridiculous..I was racing push bikes at a national level and pushing for a spot on the national team through my HSC and people were spending more time studying than I was on my bike...

I'm doing medical physics (which is a similar but different degree) because I want to get into either isotope production or radiation dosimetry, not because I'm a twat that wants to do medicine...I consider myself a physics student before med student.
