Very interesting creative! Did you have it prepared or did you just make it up on the spot? If you had it prepared, I'd love to read it because it seems very interesting! Yeah my essay was similar to that too. Main purpose of my essay was to demonstrate how language shapes and reflects culture...

    faith

Nice generalisation. If i'm a hypocrite, as you say I am because of these 'generalisations' I make, then so are you Furthermore, I did say: If I made a generalisation, this was not my intention. I was speaking from a personal perspective and never said the word 'all' here.

    faith

In relation to the so called signifiers (allah, yahweh, brahman) etc. these are not signifiers to 'God', we don't know what God is like at all! How can the perceptions of people (of what God is) be remotely symbolic of 'God'. One must make the distinction between religion and God. There is no...

Also, I thought surrogacy was illegal under the Surrogacy Act 2010 (NSW), or maybe...

    General Thoughts: EE1

It was a pretty awesome exam, especially for Textual Dynamics! The essay was straight forward, it was based directly on the syllabus for TD and Mod C. The creative worked well for me. I used the first of Fowles 3 alternate endings in The French Lieutenant's Woman as the premise for mine, it...

Extension English: Chances the question asks for 3 prescribed texts?

I go to Parramatta Marist. We do The French Lieutenant's Woman, Night Letters and Orlando. I never really liked Night Letters, I loved The French Lieutenant's Woman though! Orlando was alright I guess, but I think i would have preferred Calvino! Wow I never knew Baulko, HSGS and Sydney Girls...
