Writing notes helps with memory retention & making info more readily accessible to you. But that being said, for subjects like maths and to an extent history (there's way too much info... might as well write essays & essay plans), making notes can also be a form of procrastination.

Your English rank isn't even that so-so, considering your school! You should get 92ish at minimum with that rank... I know someone in a top 5 school who got 93 in English despite ranking 30ish, so yeah haha. But definitely try to smash externals to maximise your chances of obtaining that .95 :P

The sky's the limit for you :) Everything is heavily dependent on your externals.
