I hate that episode of Futurama. It made me cry, I watched it once and refused to ever watch it...

Transfer to USYD law after 3rd year.

Wow tradingplaces, you really must be a whiz at law to get a GPA of 6.75. So you received a HD for almost every law and commerce subject?

Transfer to USYD law after 3rd year.

Yep UNSW accepts only max 1 year of studies (any studies, not necessarily law). Whereas USYD is more flexible and will accept even 2nd and 3rd years. I'm trying to get credit exemption for my first year of commerce at USYD, they take forever to process it and reply to an email.

    Dilemma: MACQ or USYD

Wow this seems like a really tough decision. Remember pro bono law is always an option. If I were you, I would go to USyd, do the political science degree and get decent marks. Then as what X2RADialbomber said, do postgrad law. It's only one extra year which might be good for you to let you...

    Degree help.

Wait, if you just finished your HSC in 2009 how can you finish this degree in 2010 as well?

What do you hate about USyd

That's a bummer. At least we get to 'see' grass, UTS students don't even have a chance to.

    Ritalin - Adderall

I never said I was smart or smarter than all those politicians, but definitely smarter than you crackhead. tits or GTFO

    Ritalin - Adderall

Lol, fuck! Arguing with a crackhead is bloody hilarious :spin: Yes hun, I'm sure this imaginary car race of yours might work in drug-induced LaLa land but unfortunately hun, this doesn't rock IRL. Using your logic, a person who just rocks up for the HSC without giving a fuck about his...

    Ritalin - Adderall

Crackheads don't joke mate; their word is gold :spin:

    Ritalin - Adderall

Lol yes I'm sure, says the crackhead and '10er who has yet to do his HSC but already 'guaranteed' his spot in pharmacy (through hallucinogens). Zing! Yours sincerely, the 08-er (who is in a 99.65 ATAR course through hard work and guess what, no drugs)

    WAM for Honours

How important is the role of a supervisor for honours? Does it matter if you pick anyone from the hat?

    Student ID cards

I got a proxy to do my enrollment and she has my student ID and hecs form. Can I just get a new student ID form and fill it in when I go and make my card?

What do you hate about USyd

I know I promised to love USyd forever if I got it, and now that I did, I'm going to break this promise. I hate how the SIO takes fucking forever to reply to an email. ZOMG! Other universities like Melbourne University are like wayyy faster.

    First Year Law Student

Hey do you guys recommend typing your notes? I was thinking before each class, I would do the readings and type notes which I think would be relevant. I would then print it out and handwrite more notes as the lecturer talks about it. Or should I just buy a netbook and type notes in class...

    Ritalin - Adderall

Don't worry melsc, a crackhead like him would be picking up your garbage whilst you work in a law firm.

    com/law vs com/sci

I would think com/law at a top tier university with first class honours in law is a better choice for IB.
  18. R

    Ritalin - Adderall

Wow, to cowbell, that's a lot of stuff you've tried! In comparison, I've done no drugs. The most harmful thing I've ever done was binge drinking. And lol, it's 'whether' not 'weather' :)

Is getting an access card worth it?

If you live on-campus in the residential college, you automatically get the Access card. (at least for me)

    When do you start studying?

Depends on which subject. For macro/micro, you are supposed to read the chapters before the lecture, but no one ever bothers doing that. However for law, you have to read before the lecture.
