who will be applying for optometry?

Just to add that you don't need a referral from a gp to see a physio, not sure if ^^ was saying that, but just clarrifying. Most patients have private health insurance and the pay for physio's is still high. stats from my other thread suggests 115k is average after expenses for reception etc etc...

    Getting into Physiotherapy

The bonus points probably don't apply for the physio course since they only take a small number of people - small cohort. But i think the cuttoff for Sydney should go down next year because UWS is starting their physio course. Its a bachelor of health science/master of physio double degree...

Pain in the lower shin/ankle whilst running

Do you have private health insurance like mbf nib etc? If so i would suggest going to a physio they'll do an ultrasound of the region at their office and you'll get a better idea as to what is wrong because shin splints is very broad. It could be something to do with the ankle joint itself...

    Pulling your muscle, some questions...

OJ: what you describe in your sleep is actually not a stretched muscle. It is a muscle spasm, as a consequence of an imbalance of amino acids. This stretching type feeling is like the muscle is contracting hard involantarily and it feels uncomfortable yes? Its the myosin filaments going nuts...
