What kind of paper was that! that was the hardest maths paper i have ever done! btw what do you think would be a good mark in the 2 unit paper? like a band 6?

Yeah, but i still think max min will be Q 16... hopefully it's not too bad if there is one :P Time repayment i thinkk will also be near q15-16

Nah i checked... and from 2006-2009 there are like max/min questions worth like 4-5 marks.. there's never any really pattern in hsc exams

Oh God! not series and superannuation last question, wouldn't mind a trig or max/min question at the end.. :P

I'm a bit confused in regards to how scaling and moderation in hsc actually works. Say if you get a pretty average assesment mark-- 88 And my school is fairly smart (not james ruse smart) but then you get a pretty good hsc mark (NOT RAW MARK), HSC MARK-- 94 What will be my overall mark...

Around 83 is the usual cut-off mark for a band 6... though in the 2012 hsc paper... as the exam was a bit easy... it would've been around 86-87. So an 80 would be a high band 5, around 88-89... if the exam is difficult then it would go into band 6 territory. :)
