hey guys i just wanted to ask those who have finished the biology hsc in the past - how hard is HSC biology ? How long should you be studying for it ? etc . My teacher says it's incredibly hard to get a band 6 in biology and I don't know what to expect anymore . Please help me out . Thanks...

I've been relaxing enough through out year 11 . So these holidays im going to work ahead ext maths ,physics and english and do bits of biology etc

Physics over biology for sure . I do both and to be honest i love physics ,it's very interesting and if you like maths you should do it (even though they reduced the amount of math in physics ,but there's quite a fair amount ) . Year 11 biology is very boring to be honest my own biology teacher...

Yeah I am mainly talking about the sciences.. I thought the same thing but no notes on BoS seemed to look at/focus on them so I was just wondering because there is a few that are not on the left at all while others are just application of the left

Okay so you know how there's the two columns? Most BoS notes only make notes on the left side but there's some stuff on the right that isn't on the left.. So do you guys recommended doing notes on both or..? Hopefully someone understand what I'm trying to ask

Yeah i'm doing the same at the moment for biology but I hand wrote them.. Maybe i should just type them then I've just always assumed hand writing would be better

I agree with the editing and speed and everything but what about in terms of your memory? Maybe its just me but if I hand write something out it does take longer but it tends to stick in my memory more though I havent actually done proper notes before thats why I'm asking I guess :P

Just wondering what people thought of these books? So far I'm finding them useful for biology since i dont really like it and it has everything there for me with the dot point besides it, really comperssed notes at the back and a place to write my own but I also hear bad things about the excel...

Thanks so much guys :) so your cohort affects you due to the gaps but if your near the top your moderated mark will still remain close to the others at the top.. So the school rank thing is just what people use to get an idea of your cohort but really your school might be ranked low but if only...
