    HR Cycle and Outsourcing

Ohhhh so just to make sure I get it, once you outsource, say, IT, the 3rd party deals with HR for those involved in the IT work? Thanks for answering!

    HR Cycle and Outsourcing

If the business is only outsourcing the IT activities, HR still remains within the company- it's only IT that has been outsourced by this company.

    HR Cycle and Outsourcing

Hi, Just wondering what impact outsourcing (specifically outsourcing IT) could affect the HR Cycle? I suppose for Separation it could be the potential domestic jobs that are lost.... but I'm a bit stuck for the 4 stages in the cycle :/ Thanks in advance

    Focal Length and Parabola Question

Hi, I need some help with this question please :) The focal chord that cuts the parabola x^2 = -6y at (6, -6) cuts the parabola again at point X. Find the co-ordinates of X. I'm clueless! Thanks!

    Equation of a locus help

Hi, I'm having trouble with: Find the equation of the locus of a point that moves so it's equidistant from the point (2,0) and the line x=6. Not too sure when I use distance formula for this question, and what to do with the x=6. Thanks!

    Locus Question Help

Hi, The question I'm not sure how to work out is: Find the equation of the parabola with co-ordinates of vertex (0,0), and equation of axis x=0, passing through (-1, 7). The answer is x^2=1/7y I think I'd use the x^2=4ay general equation, but not sure how to work out what a is... Thanks!

Equation of Locus from Point and a Line

Hi, The question I'm stuck on is: Find the equation of the locus of a point so it is equidistant from P(2, -3) and the line y=7. If it was between 2 points, I could've done: distance formula of Point A = distance formula of Point B and solved it from there, but I'm not sure what to do when...

Prove a circle has a tangent

Hi, I need to prove that x^2+2x+y^2-4y-4=0 has the tangent 3x+4y+10=0. How I've done previous questions like this is through simultaneous equations, then finding the discriminant, and if the discriminant=0, that means it's got one root and hence that's the tangent. I just keep going...

    Calculus- Differentiating Help?

Oh ok it was what I thought... but I thought you only use Chain Rule when there's only one function of x, but in "(5x+3)^2", there are 2 functions of x because of the power of 2... Hard to explain, but maybe I was wrong.
